On the production orders you can create picking lists when starting the production. When you click start you get a dialogue. In this dialogue under General and Picking List. Select Always (or Flushing principle if you have set the FP to Start on your BOM lines). Then untick the box for posting the picking list. Now you when you click OK you will start the production order and create the picking list. Go to the production order. In the top ribbon menu go to View and select Picking list. You will now have a picking list you can change and post as you like. Using Manufacturing Execution you can pull up this dialogue in a much nicer way, but I guess you're not using that.
