We are starting to accept PayPal on line payments through our website. Since PayPal payments to us will be less a 2.9% fee off of the total invoice including tax we need to find out a best practice and setup that would preclude to the need to manually account for this fee in the customer invoicing. This is so that manually accounting for this difference can be avoided. For example... We will charge the customer $100 plus sales tax say $8 for a purchased item for an invoice total of $108. When we receive payment from PayPal for this invoice the payment will be $108- 3.13 which is 2.9% = $104.87 How can this $3.13 be automatically Posted against this invoice to close it? Some sort of Payment Fee applied for a PayPal payment method?
