Hi Was going through course material for I & C of 2012 R3 Cu8. I was unable to understand the response for the following questions. 1.Which of the following servers are required for a basic installation of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 CU8? Answer from course material (CM) a> Domain controller ,b> AOS & c> Database. Unable to understand why Domain controller is part of basic installation, can Ax not be installed without DC, last time I checked I remember Ax 2012 r3 to support other authentication apart from Windows DC, like one can use LIVE ID or other means of authentication. 2. Clients can connect to the AOS by using which of the following methods? Answer from CM a>RPC , b> WCF >c AOS services Over here I am not sure why .net business connector is not included in above list. Does .net business connector not facilitate clients to connect AOS. Your inputs will definitely help in clarifying my doubts, keenly looking forward to responses.
