Thank you for taking the time to respond. You are correct, the file I am trying to import should invoke a create method for salescontract. Having checked the AIFMessageLog table I do see the message that failed to import, it does also have the correct dataAreaId. Am I write to assume to AIF import is a two stage process: 1.Read file and store in DB 2.Read message from DB and perform insert Simon
