thanks Lilian, 1.am able to add the new row in the table but the firstform is again prepopulating with existing values. I don't want it to prepopulate any values it should be blank when I opened. I have added the property as New. 2.how to open a form on click of a MenuItemButton. for example I have a ActionPaneTab on which I have a button group with two buttons named salesorder and another Fromasalesorder now on click of Sales order a new form should be open how to do this I have created a new form names SalesOrderForm please help
